Connect with Your Inner Lorax: Become a Tree Steward

If you live in northern Virignia, here’s a fabulous opportunity to get the knowledge you need to be an impactful advocate  for the trees …

The TreeStewards of Arlington and Alexandria are volunteers dedicated to improving the health of our urban trees through educational programs, tree planting and care, demonstrations and tree maintenance throughout the
community.

New volunteer training will be held on Wednesday evenings, starting Feb. 13 through April 2013, with some Saturday mornings. Fun and interactive training is provided by recognized experts in tree care and citizen advocates. Join us and learn how to care for trees on the streets, in parks, at schools, churches, temples, and your neighborhood.

For more information and to complete an application, visit the TreeSteward website at www.TreeStewards.org or call 703-527-2349
